Stefan Gänzle is Professor of Political Science and Jean Monnet Chair in European Governance at the Department of Political Science and Management, University of Agder. He holds a Ph.D. from the Friedrich Schiller University of Jena. Previous affiliations include the German Development Institute (D.I.E.) in Bonn and the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Vancouver.
Thomas Henökl is Associate Professor at the University of Agder, Department of Political Science and Management, Norway. Before his career in academia, he worked for the European Commission as Policy Officer and Advisor. As researcher, he has focused on international relations, European public policy and administration. Recently, some of his work appeared in Journal of European Integration, European Foreign Affairs Review, and the Journal of Contemporary European Research.
Nadja Kühn was a Ph.D. Research Fellow at the Department of Political Science and Management at the University of Agder (2016-2020). O October 5, 2020, she successfully defended her thesis on “Ever closer administrative institutions? Impacts of the European Union on national decision-making processes”. Her research is primarily in the area of Europeanization of Norwegian national administration and International Public Administration.
Jarle Trondal is Professor of Public Administration at University of Agder, Department of Political Science and Management, Norway, and Professor of European Studies at University of Oslo, ARENA Center for European Studies, Norway. He is also Honorary Professor at University of Copenhagen, Denmark. His main fields of research include European public administration, administrative behavior, administrative reform, and organizational studies.
Team Members 2017/18:
Morten Øgård is Professor in Political Science at the University of Agder specializing regional governance and inter-regional relations. He holds a BA from the University of Bergen and a Ph.D. from the University of Oslo. Since 2009, he has led the establishment of executive-level training and MA programs at the University of Agder.
Stina Torjesen is Associate Professor at the School of Business and Law, University of Agder. She holds a BA in Social and Political Sciences from the University of Cambridge and an MPhil and DPhil in International Relations from the University of Oxford. She worked previously with the United Nations in Kazakhstan and has served as Senior Research Fellow at the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs.
